**Database Administrator**

POSITION LOCATION: VADODARA, INDIA

The Database Administrator is responsible for maintaining the Archer data platform. This includes monitoring and

optimizing databases along with assisting end users and development staff with requests for support and new

features. Additionally, this position will work with the VP of Data and Integration and other stakeholders to

troubleshoot issues and define new solutions.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Installation and configuration of SQL servers**

**Implement SQL patching.**

**Deployment of SQL codes (DDL and DML changes), SSRS and SSIS projects in production environments**

**Administration of SQL servers in both production and non-production environments**

**Perform SQL performance tuning and code optimizations.**

**Administration of SSRS and SSIS servers**

**Maintain understanding of current patterns and practices in data management**

**Configure and administer SQL server replication.**

**Maintain database documentation and procedures.**

**Provision database access and implement best security practices.**

**Implement database encryption and data masking.**

**Implement high availability solutions such as clustering and always on availability groups.**

**Troubleshoot any SQL server related issues.**

**Handle database related tickets/requests**

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**

The Database Administrator will be able to collaborate effectively across multiple teams to identify and define

opportunities to constantly increase business value through the Archer data platform. This role is expected to work

closely with multiples teams inside and outside of the Data and Integration team while effectively influencing

stakeholders in areas of data management and analytics.
- Database administration background of 4+ years.
- Experience with SQL Server in on-prem and cloud environments
- Experience with data integration technologies such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory
- Experience with data provisioning for analytics
- Experience with database tuning and optimization
- Experience with database monitoring
- Understanding of security concepts related to database management.
- Excellent management and communication skills. Have a desire for continuous process improvement, optimization,

and automation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science or related field

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,150,000.00 per year
