Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Database Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure our critical database systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installation, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and high availability setups across multiple database platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Monitor and optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Apply regular updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure database reliability and security.
  • Manage database access controls, roles, and permissions to protect sensitive information.
  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Ensure data integrity, normalization, and compliance with internal and external policies.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance, access, and data consistency issues.
  • Design and implement high-availability and replication strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Perform capacity planning and scalability analysis for growing database needs.
  • Document database architecture, processes, and configurations for audit and compliance.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Expertise in SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB
  • Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization
  • Experience in backup/recovery, high availability, and replication
  • Familiarity with data security, access management, and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA)
  • Proficiency in query optimization, indexing, and database monitoring tools

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70, ₹120,000.00 per year
