**Job Title**: Database Administrator (DBA)
**Location**: Prahladnagar, Ahmedabad (On-site)
**Duration**: 6-month contract
**Experience Required**: 3 to 5 years

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Perform database tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor database systems for performance issues and take corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with developers to design and optimize database queries and structures.
- Ensure data integrity and security in accordance with company policies.
- Perform regular database updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and performance.

**Technical Skills Required**:

- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems like MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Strong experience with database tuning, query optimization, and performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Experience with database security protocols and best practices.
- Familiarity with database scripting, stored procedures, triggers, and indexing.
- Hands-on experience with database replication, clustering, and high availability solutions.
- Ability to work with large datasets and complex data models.
- Knowledge of cloud-based database management (preferred).

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in database administration or a related role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

**Contract Details**:

- 6-month contract, with potential for extension based on performance and project needs.
- Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹13,017.32 - ₹67,421.38 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

- Weekend availability
