Chief Financial Officer

**Webwise Studio** is looking for a **proactive and detail-oriented CFO** to take charge of our financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and build a solid financial foundation for scalable growth.

**Location**:Bhutani Alphathum, Noida sector 90.

**Role Overview**:
As the CFO, you will be responsible for **end-to-end financial management**, including **GST compliance, tax filings, accounting oversight, cash flow management**, and **strategic financial planning**. You’ll work closely with the founders and leadership team to ensure our finances are optimized for growth, compliance, and investor readiness.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Financial Management**:

- Set up and manage robust accounting systems and processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage cash flow, expenses, and working capital efficiently.

**Compliance & GST**:

- Oversee all tax-related matters including **GST filings, TDS, income tax, and ROC filings**.
- Ensure compliance with **government regulations, statutory filings**, and deadlines.
- Liaise with **chartered accountants, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies**.

**Budgeting & Forecasting**:

- Build and manage budgets, track variances, and provide actionable insights.
- Create **financial models** to support fundraising, growth planning, and investor reporting.

**Fundraising Support**:

- Assist in preparation of investor decks, due diligence, and data rooms.
- Support capital raising efforts by providing **financial insights and documentation**.

**Strategic Planning**:

- Advise founders on **financial strategy, cost control, and growth risks**.
- Contribute to high-level decision-making with financial insights.

**Stakeholder Management**:

- Manage **banking relationships, vendor payments, payroll, and audits**.
- Communicate financial performance to internal and external stakeholders.

**Cyber Complaint Handling (Fintech-Specific)**:

- **Handle cyber-related financial complaints and disputes** in alignment with regulatory protocols (e.g., RBI guidelines, IT Act).
- Coordinate with compliance, tech, and legal teams to ensure **timely resolution and risk mitigation**.
- Maintain documentation and reporting of cyber incidents as required by fintech regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Finance, Accounting, or Commerce**; **MBA/CA/CMA** preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in **financial management** (startup or fintech experience is a strong plus).
- Hands-on experience with **GST filings, TDS, tax compliance**, and accounting systems.
- Proficiency in tools like **Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks**, or other ERPs.
- Strong understanding of **Indian financial regulations, fintech taxation**, and compliance norms.
- Prior experience handling **cyber financial complaints** within the **fintech sector** is highly desirable.
