**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Key responsibilities**
- Responsible for planning and executing Operations of the region.
- Implementation of SOPs, quality service standards, transit time. Productivity and operations improvement and people management.
- Timely connection and retrieval of the load in the scheduled routes (Road and Air network).
- Resolution of queries, Improve SOPs, policies, and practices to achieve the company's goals and ensure branches / hubs adhere to company-wide laid down rules and guidelines
- Work hand-in-hand with top management (serving as a link between them and the hubs / branches) in order to develop and implement new plans/ideas that will enhance the operations of the company at large
- Can independently identify up-stream and down-stream operational problems and escalate them to the appropriate resource before they become project-threatening.
- Excellent Leadership skills to keep employees motivated, resolve conflicts, and make hard decisions.
- Identifies underperforming areas and suggest improvements or resolutions to problems, suggest plans to control cost & improve service level.

**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES**
- MBA or Post-Graduate, with deep understanding of Logistics Operation
- Minimum of 7 -9 years of experience in Logistics Operation
- Good communication skills backed by strong listening skills to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstration of strong planning skills essential and good project management skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work with/coach senior leadership.
- Strong desire to improve our service, products, and processes, with ability to drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to work across the business to implement and execute change.
- Ability to impact organization results through influence across organizational boundaries.
- Strong networker, influencer, and team player.
