A Transport Executive manages an organization's daily transportation operations, ensuring efficient vehicle movement, timely delivery, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. Key duties include coordinating with drivers and vendors, planning routes, tracking shipments using GPS and Transport Management Systems (TMS), handling complaints, and maintaining operational reports for process improvement. The role requires strong logístical skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of relevant software and geographic areas to optimize transportation processes and achieve service targets. Key Responsibilities
- **Operational Oversight**:Manage day-to-day transportation activities, including employee transport, route planning, and fleet management.
- **Coordination**:Liaise with drivers, vendors, warehouse managers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and address issues.
- **Tracking & Monitoring**:Use GPS and Transport Management Systems (TMS) to monitor vehicle movement, track shipments, and ensure on-time arrivals.
- **Safety & Compliance**:Ensure vehicles and drivers adhere to safety standards and company policies, including checking for driver conduct and vehicle cleanliness.
- **Reporting**:Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and incident reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
- **Problem-Solving**:Investigate and resolve transportation incidents, accidents, and employee complaints, providing timely reports and corrective actions.
- **Vendor Management**:Work with transport vendors to place vehicles, manage their performance, and resolve issues related to vehicle placement and trip adherence.
- **Process Improvement**:Develop and implement new procedures, optimize routes, and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Required Skills & Knowledge
- **Logistics & Supply Chain**: Strong understanding of logistics operations, supply chain principles, and transportation methods.
- **Technology**: Proficiency with Transport Management Systems (TMS), GPS tracking, and other relevant software.
- **Route Optimization**: Ability to plan and optimize routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- **Problem-Solving**: Excellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
- **Communication**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with diverse stakeholders.
- **Administrative Skills**: Ability to manage data, prepare reports, and perform administrative duties effectively.
- **Geographic Knowledge**: Familiarity with local geography for effective routing and logistics, particularly in urban areas.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
