Reporting to: Design: Senior Design Manager > Design Director

The opportunity:
You will be a part of a growing design team that looks to innovate how we design and build.
The role will be focused towards assisting in the design and execution of the new centres along with the design management of the current centres. As a member of the design team
you will be involved throughout the design process.
Key Responsibilities:
Design + Construction
- Designing and delivering to the highest quality through all stages
- Evaluate cost implications of designs to create a balance between value engineering
and quality design
- Adhere, guide and lead the team to follow drawing standards to accurate and precise
drawings
- Evaluate cost implications of designs to create a balance between value engineering
and design
- Constant design evaluation with physical models, 3D-modelling and rendering
- Construction drawings and documents along with liaising with consultants, vendors
and contractors
- Assisting the required changes in the individual tenant spaces while maintaining
design coherency
- Coordinating with the internal sales and operations team for designing and executing
potential client requirements
- Product development and innovate to expand design and architecture team’s
capabilities as a design studio
- Market research/ sourcing for materials, products and construction techniques
- Capable of making and monitoring detailed RFQ’s, BOQ’s, scheduling and budgets
- Lead the hand-over and project closure process along with the Dextrus’ operation and
project team

Project Management
- Lead and implement all construction management processes to ensure design
conformation in execution
- Aid timely design execution, procurement process and carry out quality checks at site.
- Produce periodic project documentation with the aid of design/progress reports
- Good problem-solving and quick communication to maintain a healthy pace in
design, build and operations

Experience and Qualifications:

- Bachelor/ Diploma degree in architecture or interior design
- 7+ Years of work experience in an Architecture/ ID or Design practice
- Strong understanding of architectural design, detail and techniques
- Knowledge of various kinds of structural materials and construction procedures
- Should be able to execute quick and accurate 2D & 3D design and construction
documents
- Ability to accomplish projects alongside the Lead Architect under tight constraints
- Ability to work freely with minimum supervision with adherence to systems and
procedures
- Able to communicate design ideas verbally and visually
- Curious and willing, ability to take guidance and work as a team
- Problem-solving, judgement, time-management and organisational skills are
essential

Technical Skills:

- Fluent user of AutoCAD, Rhino, Vray, Lumion rendering
- Fluent user of Microsoft office (Excel particularly)
- Fluent user of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
