**Opportunities**:

- The Jewellery industry in India is largely fragmented with family-owned small businesses contributing to the largest chunk. These businesses are largely skill centric, with customer preference, trust and long-term relationships driving customer acquisition, retention, and sales. The more organized players in the industry have also built their brands on the foundation of trust, rather than distinctive design. However, they have not been able to acquire a significant market share, at a national level. Thus, the need to build a product offering focused on distinctive design and customization aligned to customer preferences is pronounced. Aditya Birla Group feels that Jewellery is largely an unorganized market with only one national player. Hence there is a scope of another national player.
- There is an opportunity to build a technology enabled design centric approach to blend into boutique store-based model. The unorganized players in the industry have been unable to harness the power of technology, collective buying, hedging and continual improvements in design. The synergy in terms of design, processes and technology improvements would bring in economies of scale to the business.
- To use an understanding of the historic/ international/ consumer fashion trends from varied sources and provide direction to the internal team to translate into desired product. Value for the business can be driven by constantly observing business environment and competition and come up with improvement, innovations. Develop design leadership and develop inimitable competitive edge over competition as we have close relationships with the leading designers in India as well as Globally.
- Investment of INR 4000 Crores over the next 5 years to setup a Greenfield Venture into a scalable business model. Develop and implement a strategy for a strong foundation for a successful enterprise and a market leader.

**Position Purpose and Summary**:
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- ** Procurement and Vendor Management**
- Identify and qualify suppliers/vendors for MEP, Civil, and retail fit-out material jointly with CPC team
- Participate actively in budgetary goals while maintaining quality.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure reliability, quality, and on-time delivery.
- ** MIS and Data Management**
- Utilize SAP or similar ERP systems to track, analyze, and optimize purchasing data.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to evaluate purchasing performance, cost-saving opportunities, and supplier efficiency.
- Lead initiatives for improving data accuracy and accessibility in procurement processes.
- Complete ownership from Item master, Budget mapping, Purchase request, PO management, GRN’s and financial closures
- ** Technical and Compliance Standards**
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure purchased materials meet technical specifications and compliance standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, particularly in Civil, MEP, and retail requirements.
- ** Cost Optimization and Inventory Control**
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies, continually seeking opportunities to reduce expenses without compromising on quality.
- Coordinate with inventory management teams to optimize stock levels, ensuring supply meets project demands while minimizing excess.
- ** Cross-Functional Collaboration**
- Liaise with various departments, including engineering, finance, and project management, to align purchasing strategies with organizational goals.

**Person Profile**- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical).
- 10+ years of experience in purchasing within a retail or engineering context, with a focus on MEP, Civil, and fit-out materials.
- Strong expertise in SAP or similar ERP systems for procurement processes.
- Proficient in MIS/data management, Excel, and reporting tools to support data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
