Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- **Financial Analysis and Planning**:Analyzing sales data, forecasting demand, developing pricing strategies, and managing inventory levels to maximize profitability.
- **Purchase Order Management**:Preparing and managing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of merchandise.
- **Market Analysis**:Monitoring competitive landscape, identifying emerging trends, and adapting product offerings accordingly.
- **Inventory Management**:Overseeing stock levels, identifying slow-moving items, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory turnover.
- **Quality Control**:Inspecting products to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- **Reporting and Analysis**:Generating reports on sales, inventory, and supplier performance to inform decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:

- **Education**: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field like business, marketing, or merchandising.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in retail, wholesale, or buying roles is highly valued.
- **Skills**: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are essential.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in using software for inventory management, sales analysis, and vendor communication.
