**3D Environment Artist**

**Job Location**:Remote (online)

We are looking for an experienced and creative 2D/3D Environment Artist having a grip on designing tools to join our team. The main responsibilities will include the production/post-production of our game assets (organic model, hard surface models), texturing and environmental details.

**Responsibilities**:

- High-quality organic (e.g., shrubs, bushes) and hard surface (e.g., buildings, props) models creation and texture maps production in line with brief and reference material, including interpreting abstract ideas
- Follow design references accurately (including interpretatin of abstract ideas), with eye for details, and create moderate to complex models (hard surface, organic etc.).
- Modelling and texture a variety of 2D/3D game assets including, but not limited to, environments, buildings, characters, props, vehicles etc. Strong sense of scale, volume, form, and weight while modeling
- Presentation of the work in turntable style environments, appropriate lighting, for progress review and approvals.
- Consistent design and consistency in UV mapping and polygon subdivisions.
- Work in close collaboration with Design and Art team to ensure the suitabiltiy and working of geo (and textures maps) along with addressing the mesh fixes, as required
- Assets topology optimization in the scene to ensure manageable frame time in environmental runs.
- Mapping out environment and related scenery elements and props to drive the game story.

**Required Qualifications**:
BS degree in game design/art or relevant

1-year experience

Strong grip on **Unity (2D and 3D) and Substance Designer **is a must.

Blender, 3DS Max, auto desk Maya (will be plus)

Strong understanding of game art asset creation and video games

Strong communication skill and good eye for details.

Ability to understand and maintain good models and textures

Note:
**-- The initial contract will be one month, that will be extended to 2nd month upon satisfactory work. After satisfactory work at the end of 2nd month, one year contract will be offered.**

**-- The one year contract can be extended depending on the quality/efficiency of the work.**

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
