- **Position Description**:
**Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.
- Implement new features and functionality based on business and design requirements.
- Ensure high-performance and availability of websites while managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
- Customize existing themes and plugins or build new ones from scratch.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers to deliver compelling user experiences.
- Optimize websites for speed, and scalability.
- Conduct website performance tests and troubleshoot bugs.
- Keep up to date with the latest web development trends and WordPress updates.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- 3+ years of professional experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Strong understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with theme and plugin development/customization.
- Familiarity with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Version control experience (Git preferred).
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues across browsers and devices.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Familiarity with headless WordPress and JAMstack architecture.
- Experience with deployment workflows and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of security best practices and website hardening.
