Were looking for an experienced PHP Developer who is passionate about building high-quality, scalable, and performance-driven web solutions. Youll work on developing custom WordPress plugins, managing multi-site environments, and ensuring seamless integration of backend and frontend components.

This role requires strong ownership, collaboration, and technical depth in modern PHP, WordPress architecture, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress plugins and MU-plugins following WordPress coding standards.
  • Implement and optimize WordPress admin-ajax workflows for dynamic data handling.
  • Work with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) for flexible content management.
  • Manage and optimize WordPress database structures (MySQL / MariaDB).
  • Configure and maintain WordPress Multisite environments.
  • Write clean, modular, and reusable OOP-based PHP code.
  • Use Composer and PSR-4 autoloading (customized version) for efficient dependency and class management.
  • Handle XML (SimpleXMLElement) and JSON data for translations and configuration files.
  • Collaborate with designers and frontend developers (HTML, CSS, JS) to build cohesive user experiences.
  • Monitor site performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply optimization techniques.
  • Use Docker Compose for local development and environment management.
  • Manage source control and branching workflows using Git.
  • Work with MongoDB and MariaDB for data persistence and integration.
  • Debug using tools like Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and scalability improvements.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in PHP OOP and WordPress plugin development.
  • Solid understanding of WordPress Coding Standards and best practices.
  • Experience with WordPress MU-Plugins, admin-ajax, and custom post types.
  • Familiarity with WordPress database schema and Multisite architecture.
  • Proficiency with ACF, Composer, and PSR-4 autoloading.
  • Experience working with JSON, SimpleXML, and RESTful APIs.
  • Frontend fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker Compose and Git workflows.
  • Database experience: MariaDB, MongoDB.
  • Understanding of website architecture, performance tuning, and security best practices.
