Tandoor Chef

**Responsibilities**:
Prepare and cook a variety of tandoori dishes, including meats (chicken, lamb, fish), vegetables, and breads (naan, roti).

Manage and maintain the tandoor oven, ensuring it is properly heated and functioning.

Prepare marinades and spice blends according to recipes and quality standards.

Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation.

Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work station.

Monitor inventory and inform the kitchen manager of any shortages.

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Assist in developing new tandoori recipes and menu items.

Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines.

Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the tandoor area and equipment.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef, preferably in a reputable restaurant.

Strong knowledge of tandoori cooking techniques and recipes.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.

Excellent knife skills and food preparation techniques.

Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills.

A passion for food and a desire to create delicious dishes.
