**Job Summary**:
MM Mithailwala Pvt Ltd, a renowned name in the sweets and confectionery industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-friendly Cashier to join our team in Malad West. The Cashier will be responsible for managing all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive shopping experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist customers with their queries and purchase decisions.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to the manager when necessary.
- **Transaction Management**:

- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment.
- Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers accurately.
- **Cash Handling**:

- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure amounts are correct and there is adequate change.
- Balance the cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions.
- **Product Knowledge**:

- Maintain a thorough understanding of the products offered, including prices, ingredients, and any ongoing promotions.
- Inform customers about new products, special offers, and promotions.
- **Store Maintenance**:

- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., bags, receipt paper).
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience.
- Communicate effectively with the store manager and team members regarding any issues or improvements needed.
- **Compliance**:

- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and customer service.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Working Conditions**:

- Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays, as per the store’s operating hours.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
