Key Job Responsibility:

- Maintain and upgrade the University's academic information infrastructures including academic records archives
- Develop and publish major information documents including, but not limited to, institute/ University Catalogs and class schedules.
- Conduct and manage examinations across different academic courses and timely result preparation and declaration.
- Will be responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and upgradation of all assets and physical infrastructure of the University.
- Will be responsible for securing all statutory clearances, academic accreditations and ensure that the University has all the required permissions to operate. Will keep abreast of the changes in the rules and regulations and ensure that the University policies and statutes are updated accordingly to make it compliant with all existing laws and regulations.
- Will be responsible for handling all Government relations and ensure that all the legal obligations required by the University to function, including those related to the built environment and infrastructure, have been fulfilled.
- All legal matters, including any representations on behalf of the University, will be handled by this position.
- Will be responsible for all student services activities within the University, pertaining to creating and supporting a high-quality student life experience and holistic wellbeing for all students. S/he will implement and facilitate educational and developmental workshops that foster student leadership and professionalism. The office plans and arranges social, cultural, and recreational events and activities of various student groups, according to university policies and regulations. S/he meets and coordinates with student and faculty groups to plan activities; evaluates programs and suggests modifications. S/he will manage student organizations and clubs, budgets and oversee all student activities. Besides, s/he will also oversee mess, cafeteria, hostel facilities along with report keeping and documentation.

Education and Experience:

- Should come with excellent planning skills with the ability to set up world class administrative and archiving systems which will help to run a seamless process from admission to examination to graduation and awarding of degrees/certifications.
- Should have substantial experience of engaging with the Government and maintaining relationships with senior officials both at the State and the Center depending on the requirement.
- Should either come with prior experience or have the ability to ensure compliance with respect to all academic matters as well as adherence to every legal aspect related to an educational institution and a residential campus.
- Should have the gravitas and representational skill to engage with multiple stakeholders both within and outside the University/academic and non academic audience to be able to represent University matters, including legal.
- Should be able to keep oneself abreast of the latest technological advancements which will ensure proper archiving and record keeping of all information and data related to students, faculty and the University.
- Should be someone who keeps oneself updated regarding any changes taking place with respect to the laws and regulations which will directly or indirectly impact the University.
- Should be able to guide, mentor and manage a team of highly qualified and senior officials under her/him.

- Should be someone who is able to put structures, systems and processes in place within a greenfield setup without getting overwhelmed or flustered with the ambiguity. Should be a problem solver.
- Preferable:

- Someone who has set up an administrative department within a sector undertaking, business, project or institution from scratch.
- Highly Desirable:

- Besides English, someone who can communicate fluently in Hindi, both written and verbal
