Job Description for Medical technicians (oxygen):

- **Equipment Setup and Maintenance**: Medical technicians are responsible for setting up and maintaining oxygen delivery equipment, including oxygen tanks, concentrators, regulators, and tubing, ensuring they are functioning properly and safely.
- **Patient Assessment**: Conducting initial assessments of patients to determine their oxygen therapy needs, which may involve evaluating their respiratory status, oxygen saturation levels, and medical history.
- **Oxygen Delivery**: Administering prescribed oxygen therapy to patients according to established protocols and physician orders, ensuring proper flow rates and oxygen concentrations.
- **Monitoring and Documentation**: Monitoring patients' response to oxygen therapy, including their respiratory rate, oxygen saturation levels, and overall condition. Documenting observations and any interventions performed accurately in patients' medical records.
- **Patient Education**: Providing education to patients and their caregivers on the proper use of oxygen equipment, safety precautions, and signs of oxygen therapy-related complications. Ensuring patients understand how to maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
- **Equipment Troubleshooting**: Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing basic repairs or adjustments as necessary. Notifying appropriate personnel if more extensive repairs or replacements are needed.
- **Safety and Infection Control**: Adhering to safety protocols and infection control measures when handling and administering oxygen therapy equipment. Ensuring that equipment is cleaned, sanitized, and stored appropriately to prevent contamination.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and home healthcare providers, to coordinate patient care and address any concerns or changes in patients' conditions.
- **Quality Assurance**: Participating in quality assurance activities to ensure the safe and effective delivery of oxygen therapy services. Following regulatory guidelines and standards to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
- **Professional Development**: Engaging in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay updated on advances in oxygen therapy technology, equipment, and best practices.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
