Implement and monitor **HSE policies**, procedures, and practices across all project phases.
- Conduct **site safety inspections**, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the **Project Management Team** in ensuring contractor compliance with safety regulations, project safety plans, and industry best practices.
- Review and approve contractors’ **HSE plans, risk assessments, method statements**, and ensure their effective implementation.
- Organize and deliver **safety training sessions**, toolbox talks, and inductions for all workers on-site.
- Lead and participate in **incident investigations**, identifying root causes and recommending preventive measures.
- Prepare and submit **daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports** for internal and client review.
- Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, and contractors on all HSE-related matters.
- Ensure strict adherence to **local safety laws, regulations, and standards** (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Promote a **positive safety culture** across all project stakeholders.
- Provide **advice to project managers** on health and safety issues and support in project risk management.

**Skill Set Required**
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
- **Certified Safety Officer** qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH) are mandatory.
- Minimum **5+ years** of relevant experience, preferably in a PMC, construction, or infrastructure environment.
- In-depth knowledge of **local HSE laws**, standards, and international best practices.
- Strong ability to prepare clear and detailed **HSE documentation and reports**.
- Excellent **communication, training, and interpersonal skills**.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and lead incident investigations.
