- Medical Summary and Chronology:_
- Review Extensive Medical Records: Analyze large volumes of medical records, including diagnostic reports, physician notes, imaging results, and lab findings, to extract pertinent details.
- Highlight Key Medical Events: Identify and document critical medical events, including surgeries, hospitalizations, ER visits, and significant medical treatments.
- Track Symptom Progression: Document the progression of symptoms and how they correlate with diagnoses and treatments over time, ensuring clarity in the medical narrative.
- Identify Pre-existing Conditions: Analyze medical records to differentiate between pre-existing conditions and injury-related conditions, and ensure accurate presentation in the summary.
- Condense Complex Medical Information: Simplify and condense complex medical information into clear and understandable language for legal and non-medical audiences.
- Integration of Imaging Studies: Include interpretations and summaries of imaging studies such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs within the medical summaries for clarity on injury assessments.
- Summarize Treatment Plans and Outcomes: Highlight key treatment plans prescribed by healthcare providers and document the patient's response and outcomes to these treatments.
- Demand Letters and Billing Summary:_
- Summarize medical records in prescribed formats for demand letters.
- Organize and compile medical and billing records for legal demands.
- Accurately summarize billing information to reflect medical expenses and treatments received.
- Collaborate with the Demands team to facilitate case preparation and resolution.
- Medical Record Organization and Hyperlinking:_
- Efficiently organize medical records for case reviews and legal proceedings.
- Use hyperlinking techniques to facilitate easy navigation of medical documents for attorneys and team members.
- Exhibits and Redaction:_
- Prepare exhibits for legal submissions, ensuring they are well-structured and thorough.
- Redact sensitive medical or personal information as per case protocols and compliance requirements.
- Narrative Summary and Case Analysis:_
- Draft detailed narrative summaries that provide insights into a plaintiff's medical history, identifying key medical events and outcomes.
- Analyze medical records in the context of litigation, focusing on injury details, causation, and treatment progression.
- Quality Control and Compliance:_
- Ensure that all documentation adheres to work standards and legal requirements.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on completed documents to maintain accuracy and avoid errors.
- Collaboration and Communication:_
- Work closely with team members, including leads and managers, to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
- Contribute medical expertise to cross-functional legal and client teams to support various projects.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, BPT, BAMS, BDS, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
- Experience with medical summaries, chronologies, and billing records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

- Experience working in legal, medical-legal, or personal injury case management.
- Familiarity with medical documentation software and tools.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards for medical records management.
