The Data Products Team works within Commercial Bank’s Data Analytics and Technology (DAT) organization, which leverages the firm’s unique and powerful data assets to deliver meaningful insights to tens of thousands of internal users, drive the bank’s strategy and decision-making, improve internal efficiencies, and ultimately help our clients achieve their goals. Looking forward, DAT is focused on expanding how we capture relationships between entities in our data, in order to produce next-level insights and uncover unforeseen risks.

**About the Role**:

As the Data Analytics Associate in our Data Products team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Analyze complex datasets to extract actionable insights and trends
- Interpret data to provide meaningful recommendations for business improvement
- Utilize statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques to identify patterns and trends
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Stakeholders and cross-functional teams to implement analytics solutions effectively
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues on data analysis techniques and methodologies
- Proficiently use analytical tools and software such as Python, R, and SQL
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver commitments
- Document and communicate findings and insights to senior management stakeholders and solicit feedback / guidance

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- BS/BA degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5-7 years of data analysis experience, including statistical analysis, querying databases (SQL), and machine learning
- Data visualization skills and experience (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, matplotlib, etc.) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience with big data with data management
- Excellent project management, process optimization, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- Experience in Financial Services preferred
- Knowledge of cloud data services, graph databases, and data management best practices
