As a Data Analytics Associate within our Finance team, you will be a part of the Commercial Banking Global Finance and Business Management organization. Your daily tasks will involve defining, refining, and achieving set objectives for our firm. You will assist in enhancing business performance by promoting key initiatives and executing the data and management reporting development agenda for operations. Your role will involve learning core business processes, developing new capabilities, creating metrics/management reporting, and providing decision support through Adhoc reporting and data analytics. You will have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives that enhance profitability and efficiency across the Commercial Banking organization. You will be responsible for leading the Data Analytics and Reporting team and assisting the business in identifying, escalating, and mitigating operational risks. Additionally, you will support in building strategic initiatives for key stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver data insights, business value and recommend next steps to senior stakeholders.
- Produce key metrics/decks (e.g., Business reviews, Partner decks, and dashboards) for the senior management on regular / ad hoc basis containing both financial and operational details.
- Engage with key stakeholders across functions to understand challenges/pain-points or best practices and implement solutions.
- Play a supporting role in driving business-initiated change management activities across the business (assess the ask, formulate solution in conjunction with business partners, manage the execution, measure success)
- Identify and execute on efficiency/automation opportunities in the existing data consolidation/reporting processes.
- Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis.
- Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes.
- Partner with senior leaders in advancing the business analysis and reporting agenda, focused on insights delivery in areas around operational efficiency, cost modeling, capacity planning, quality enhancements, etc.

**Required qualifications, capabilities and skills**
- Ability to understand business problems/processes and design solutions/methodologies that are rooted in data.
- Need hands on experience with below skillset:

- Programming languages, e.g., SQL, Python/R
- Analytical tools, e.g., Alteryx. Data visualization tool like Qlik, Tableau
- Knowledge of Distributed file systems, e.g., AWS, Hadoop, Hive
- Experience in managing small teams and multiple stakeholders
- Graduate/Postgraduate preferably with Computers/Finance/Statistics as core areas
- Experience in Service Now & JIRA project management tools
- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills looking at reports / processes and build solutions.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and effective under pressure; Ability to prioritize requests and multi-task on time sensitive multiple requirements.
- Maintaining a very high level of competency when reviewing data and reports; quickly identifying and rectifying data and presentation issues. Excellent communication (verbal / written) skills to liaison between Sr. Management, US business managers and Data reporting teams.

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills**
- Minimum 8 years of Analytics experience, preferably in financial services or commercial banking
- Manage projects / communicates in a clear, concise and efficient manner with multiple teams locally and globally. Has ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to understand business problems/processes and design solutions/methodologies that are rooted in data. Solid organizational skills with ability to consolidate and analyze data received from multiple businesses.
- Ability to design and execute repeatable and scalable data solutions (extraction / mining / visualization)
- Effectively communicate insights/recommendations (verbal and written)
- Team player with a demonstrated strong work ethic.
