**What's the role**

As an Associate IDT Application Portfolio Analyst, you will work around ERP platforms which would focus on defining solutions for downstream business and customers that leverage technologies within and around SAP ERP and analytics platforms and tools. This position would invest significant time working in partnership with portfolio SME’s, business analysts and process leads to define and design solutions that purports to resolve tactical and strategic business problems. This position would also focus on driving innovation and automation of processes/ solutions within ERP platforms area by exploring, defining, and running proof of concepts, Proof of value etc. In addition to new innovations this role will contribute to Sustain and Improve activities to harvest maximum benefit from existing assets in ERP platforms.

Further responsibilities include the following:

- Identify, Define, design solutions with tools around ERP platforms in close collaboration with portfolio SMEs in platforms area, business analysts, business stakeholders and peers in the team.
- Explore, define and drive automation opportunities in release and delivery assurance processes such as testing, Risk impact analysis etc. Tools such as Panaya, HPALM, Worksoft, Revtrack and their integration there to.
- Explore, Define and drive innovation in ERP platform related processes and solutions. Includes providing education /awareness sessions, Help SME’s prototype the product with near real examples from the solution deployed etc
- Works with internal and external technical resources to implement continuous improvements.
- Assists senior portfolio analyst in ERP platforms to maintain integrity and quality of the data in the relevant IT portfolio management systems (ITBM, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Assist the portfolio SME’s in case of technical issues and conflicts during scoping and execution of projects in ERP systems such as GSAP/TSAP/STN/CHEM ECC.
- Collaborate with IDSO, Global functions, upstream etc. to gain knowledge of and help deploy best practices leveraging the existing knowledge base if any on new technologies in ERP platforms space
- Stay abreast of technical innovations/developments of SAP ERP, S/4 HANA and related components in Shell as well as outside of Shell. Help Identify opportunities for collaboration/best practice sharing
- Assist Portfolio manager and SME’s safeguard continued robustness and performance of the ERP platforms in DPF - GSAP/TSAP/STN/CHEM ECC and peripheral systems
- Assist Portfolio SMEs with current and future integrations of various CAPs in ERP portfolio.
- Assist portfolio SMEs with definition and delivery of technical track strategic and tactical topics in the downstream S/4 HANA space
- Work with portfolio SME’s within DPF COB space to penetrate adoption of the automation tools above.

**What we need from you**
- 6 to 9 years of solid working experience in SAP ERP technical areas.
- Experience working with various Interfacing technologies with SAP ERP( ECC 6.0, S4 HANA etc) and SAP Architecture.
- Experience with test automation and integration of various tools within SAP ERP.
- Strong working knowledge of at least 2 of the following modules: MM, SD, WM, EWM, LE, CRM, PM, FI/CO, PP, PS, QM, SCM
- Knowledge of latest SAP trends/developments/products including S4 HANA, Basis, and HPALM.
- Knowledge of IT security and compliance standards.
- Good working experience with DS-GSAP is an advantage
- Good understanding of system development lifecycle methodology.
- Good understanding of software testing cycles, tools, and methods.
- Good understanding of project delivery methodologies, including agile.
- Self-starter with a track record for implementation and delivery.
- Adaptive and creative thinker, who looks outside the norm for solutions.

- Good communication and influencing skills.
- Experience of working in a global virtual team environment.
- Organized and methodical. Ability to initiate, plan and develop according to plan though coping with a level of uncertainty and risk.

- Having SAP Functional/Technical certificate is a plus.
