**About the Role**
We're looking for a People Partner in Hyderabad/Vizag to support our employee population, someone who is passionate about finding ways to best support our growing Uber family. The People Partner is primarily responsible for supporting employees and managers with inquiries and implementing global and local HR processes and programs within their region or function. You will partner with HRBP(S) on various stages of the employee life cycle from talent management, performance management, Onboarding/Offboarding and business driven initiatives.
**What You'll Do**
- Provide support to employees and leaders in the business: coaching on performance management, policies, and other HR-related topics/processes
- Analyze data from various daily activities and projects to identify patterns and trends that can help create/ improve processes or identify areas of concern
- Partner with your cross functional teams on larger projects and org changes
- Identify and execute on continuous improvement of HR programs and processes to enhance the overall employee and manager experience
- Provide support to the various functional areas during the performance review lifecycle by contributing to the talent reviews, talent assessment, and follow-ups
- Own and strengthen key partnerships on behalf of the team (with other People COEs: Benefits, ER, People Operations, People Systems, Analytics, HRBPs)
- Facilitate the adoption and improvement of HR programs, policies, and processes to enhance our overall employee and manager experience
- Complete processes and project work to maintain compliance in your region or function
**What You'll Need**
- **HR Functional Expertise**:Solid understanding of HR processes, practices and programs across the employee lifecycle. Up to date on industry best practices and HR thought leadership. Builds functional and technical knowledge across all areas of HR. Awareness of workplace environment, employee engagement & retention, employee relations, compliance, employment law, and social relations.
- **Employee / Manager Coaching (Case Management)**:Knowledge of the principles and practices of individual coaching; able to diagnose issues and build a coaching program or approach to address individual needs; works with individuals to facilitate more self-awareness and personal growth with the objective of being more effective in the workplace.
- **Stakeholder Management**:Build positive relationships with stakeholders through the appropriate management of their expectations and agreed objectives; gets first-hand stakeholder group information and uses it for improvements in strategies and services; acts with stakeholders in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with stakeholders and gains their trust and respect
- **Operational Excellence**:An execution focused mindset centered in problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership results to drive ongoing improvements. Effectively resolving issues that involve people and processes by using logic and common sense. Identifying the root cause of a problem as opposed to focusing on the symptoms. Generating unique solutions to problems rather than relying on what has been tried in the past.Continued focus on employee and business needs in order to improve effectiveness, efficiency, quality or experience relative to activities in the workplace. This will require an ability to (a) see how organizational systems (e.g., internal/external conditions, processes, people) interact and influence each other, and (b) how these systems create and contribute to specific issues (e.g., high voluntary turnover) and strengths (e.g., strong customer focus).
- **Project Management**: Successfully plan, organize, collaborate and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of a specific project. Strong decision making, prioritization, and problem-solving skill sets are essential while juggling the potential competing priorities / deadlines
