A hostess in a microbrewery serves as the first point of contact for guests, playing a critical role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience. Their responsibilities are tailored to the dynamic environment of a microbrewery, which often combines food service, craft beer offerings, and social events.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Guest Management**
- **Welcoming Guests**:
- Greet customers warmly as they arrive, creating a positive first impression.
- **Seating Arrangements**:
- Manage table reservations and walk-ins, ensuring guests are seated promptly.
- Accommodate special requests, such as large groups or specific seating preferences.
- **Queue Management**:
- Manage waiting lists during peak hours and provide accurate wait-time estimates.
- Offer alternative options, such as bar seating or outdoor areas, when the main dining area is full.
**Customer Interaction**
- **Menu Presentation**:
- Present beer and food menus to guests, highlighting seasonal or signature items.
- **Basic Beer Knowledge**:
- Provide a brief overview of the brewery's offerings, including beer styles, brewing methods, and food pairings.
- **Complaint Handling**:
- Address guest concerns politely and escalate issues to the manager when necessary.
**Operational Duties**
- **Ambience Management**:
- Ensure the host station, entrance, and waiting areas are clean and presentable.
- Monitor the overall atmosphere, such as lighting, music, and temperature, to enhance the guest experience.
- **Reservation Management**:
- Use reservation systems to manage bookings efficiently.
- Confirm or follow up on reservations as needed.
**Promotional Activities**
- **Event Promotion**:
- Inform guests about upcoming events, seasonal beer releases, and promotions.
- **Loyalty Programs**:
- Encourage guests to sign up for loyalty programs or mailing lists.
**Guest Farewell and Feedback**
- **Thanking Guests**:
- Express gratitude to departing customers, inviting them to return.
- **Feedback Collection**:
- Gather guest feedback or direct them to provide reviews on social media or review platforms.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
