**Description**

The roles and responsibilities of an Operations Technician include, but are not limited to the following
- Tooling Engineer Responsible for Assembly Tool and Lifting Tackle Design, Development
- Drive and Execute strategy within area of responsibilities and meet agreed targets
- Coordinate with Tool Room for the Continuous Improvement Tooling and fabrication
- Responsible to provide input and support in developing and evaluating Tools Designed within the team.
- Managing and supporting the Assembly line Tool request and Tool and fixture audits
- Drive initiatives and performance measures within tools areas to achieve high level of output in future development of tools
- Train the production team on the new/changed content during new Tool introduction.
- Responsible for Tool Cost Estimation, Supplier Manufacturing Coordination, and maintenance planning for current production Tools.

**Basic Qualifications**

Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering

Diploma - Min. 4 yrs

BE - Min. 2 yrs

Experience with the following systems: AutoCAD, Pro-E

Knowledge of manufacturing concepts

Good written and oral communication skills

Manufacturing Engineering related work experience will be an added advantage
