**Job Title**: Restaurant Captain

**Location**: Nesco and Charni Road, Mumbai

**Salary**: ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 per month (plus service charge, tips, and food)

**Shift Type**: Straight Shift

**Duty Hours**: 10 hours a day

**Weekly Off**: 1 weekly off as per standard

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Guest Service**: Ensure that all guests receive top-notch service in a timely, professional, and friendly manner. Address guest concerns and requests promptly and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- **Team Supervision**: Oversee and guide the floor staff, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and provide excellent service. Lead by example to maintain high service standards.
- **Order Management**: Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure the timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages.
- **Shift Management**: Manage the daily operations of the restaurant during your shift, including supervising the waitstaff, handling customer orders, and ensuring smooth communication between the front and back of the house.
- **Table Setting & Cleanliness**: Ensure that all tables are properly set, clean, and prepared for guests before their arrival. Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
- **Cash Handling & Billing**: Oversee billing and payment processes, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of financial transactions.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist in managing inventory levels, including tracking supplies and ordering stock as needed. Ensure proper storage and handling of food and beverage items.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**: Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for both guests and staff.
- **Training & Development**: Assist in training new staff members and ensure ongoing skill development for existing team members.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Captain or in a similar supervisory role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food and beverage service standards, and customer service.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
