**Job Summary**:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **Chef de Partie (CDP)** to manage the Continental and Chinese kitchen sections. The CDP will be responsible for supervising food preparation, maintaining quality standards, training junior staff, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations within their section.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the Continental and Chinese kitchen sections during service hours.
- Prepare and cook a variety of Continental and Chinese vegetarian dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Supervise, train, and guide junior kitchen staff including Commis and helpers to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Ensure all food items are prepared consistently and in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation and ensure all kitchen safety protocols are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and equipment for the section, and assist in stock ordering and management.
- Collaborate with other kitchen sections and communicate effectively with the kitchen brigade and FOH team to ensure timely service.
- Manage waste reduction and cost control within the section.
- Participate in menu planning and recipe development when required.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in a multi-cuisine or specialized kitchen with at least 2 years as a CDP handling Continental and Chinese cuisines.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and recipes specific to Continental and Chinese vegetarian cuisine.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene.
- Good communication skills and ability to train junior kitchen staff.
- Familiarity with FSSAI and HACCP regulations.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management (preferred but not mandatory).
- Prior experience in pure vegetarian kitchens is a plus.
- Creativity and willingness to innovate within the cuisine section.

**Work Schedule**:

- Rotational shifts covering lunch and dinner services.
- Availability on weekends and public holidays is essential.
