About the job:
The Red Hat Marketing team is currently looking for a Marketing Trainee interested in Enterprise Marketing to join us in Bangalore, India. This is a fixed term 6-month traineeship program. You have the opportunity to work across the following areas: Enterprise Marketing - financial services, industrial edge, telco and public sector, Account-Based Marketing, Executive Engagement.
As an trainee, you will work closely with your mentors and gain experience on the technical side, and you will be interacting with a broader team both locally and globally.
What you will do:
- Work closely with your mentors to build your experience of B2B marketing within a technology company- Learn the fundamental skills required to be a successful B2B marketer - including digital/content marketing and events (physical and digital)- Have ownership of a number of critical marketing activities supporting our industry marketing across segments such as financial services, telecommunications, public sector and industrial edge (manufacturing)
What you will bring:
- Background in Marketing and/or Business - as part of tertiary education- Working knowledge of written and spoken English- Passion, curiosity, and desire to create new things and examine how things work internally- Willingness to learn new things and proactivity working as a part of a wider team- Enthusiastic about pursuing a career in a tech/B2B marketing environment.
