- Core Responsibilities Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and integrate new network hardware, software, and servers. Maintenance & Monitoring: Perform routine maintenance, keep systems updated with security patches, and monitor network performance and stability.
- Security: Implement network security policies and procedures to protect against unauthorized access and threats. Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems for users and system malfunctions.
- User Support: Manage user accounts, permissions, and provide technical support to users regarding network and software issues.
- System Optimization: Analyze network performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize efficiency. Backup & Recovery: Oversee and maintain network backup systems to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Key Skills & Qualifications Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls), software, operating systems, and communication links.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to create technical documentation, explain issues to users, and liaise with vendor support.
