A Network Administrator installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots an organization's computer networks and servers to ensure their stability, security, and optimal performance. Key responsibilities include managing network hardware and software, performing routine maintenance, implementing security protocols like firewalls, monitoring network activity, analyzing system needs, and providing support and training to end-users.
- Core Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform daily maintenance, monitor network health, implement necessary system and security upgrades, and keep network software and hardware up-to-date.
- Security Management: Implement and manage security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems, to protect against threats.
- Performance Monitoring: Consistently monitor network stability and performance, analyze network traffic, and collect data to optimize network efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network hardware and software problems for both the network infrastructure and end-users in a timely manner.
- User Support: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access, and provide training on hardware and software to end-users.
- Networking Fundamentals: Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP), routing, switching, and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency with various network operating systems, hardware, and software.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze network issues and develop effective solutions. Communication: Skill in communicating technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
- Research Skills: Ability to research and stay informed about new technologies and potential solutions.

Pay: ₹10,246.08 - ₹45,807.18 per month
