As part of this expansion, we are seeking a motivated **Cisco Network Administrator** to join our growing IT team and contribute to the seamless operation of our network infrastructure.
**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Cisco Network Configuration & Management**: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Firepower, etc.). Ensure the network infrastructure is efficient, secure, and reliable.
- **Network Security**: Implement and manage network security measures including **Access Control Lists (ACLs)**, **VPNs**, and **firewall policies** to safeguard network environments from potential threats.
- **Troubleshooting & Support**: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network-related issues quickly and effectively. Provide technical support for network incidents and work to identify and resolve root causes.
- **Network Monitoring**: Continuously monitor network performance using tools such as **SolarWinds**, **Cisco Prime**, or other monitoring solutions to ensure that network systems are operating at peak efficiency.
- **Optimization**: Optimize network resources and configurations to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability across the network infrastructure.
- **Documentation**: Maintain up-to-date network configuration, topology, and incident documentation. Record all changes to the network infrastructure for compliance and auditing purposes.
- **Collaboration & Coordination**: Collaborate with the broader IT team to ensure network integration with other IT systems. Work closely with vendors for troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- **Upgrades & Maintenance**: Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades on Cisco networking devices to ensure functionality and security are up to date.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science**, **Information Technology**, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- **Certifications**:Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)** or equivalent Cisco certifications are preferred. **Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)** is a plus.
**Experience**:
- 1-3 years of experience in **Cisco network administration**, with hands-on experience managing Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA or Firepower).
- Proficient in network protocols such as **TCP/IP**, **DNS**, **DHCP**, **OSPF**, **EIGRP**, and **BGP**.
- Familiar with network security concepts such as **VPNs**, **NAT**, **ACLs**, and **firewall management**.
**Technical Skills**:
- Strong understanding of **Cisco devices** and network configurations.
- Experience in managing **Cisco ASA** or **Firepower** firewalls.
- Familiarity with network **monitoring tools** like SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, or other management systems.
- Understanding of **network performance optimization** and **troubleshooting** techniques.
**Soft Skills**:
- Strong **analytical** and **problem-solving** skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent **communication** skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external clients.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Familiarity with wireless networking (Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers)
- Experience with network automation tools or scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).
Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
