**Role Overview**

As a **UI/UX Design Intern**, you will support the design team by contributing to the creation of engaging, user-friendly, and visually appealing digital experiences. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in design and looking to gain hands-on experience with industry-standard design tools and processes. You will collaborate with senior designers and other cross-functional teams to assist in creating user-centric design solutions across various digital platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Assist in User Research**: Conduct user research under the guidance of senior designers to gather insights into user needs, behaviors, and pain points using surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
- **Wireframing & Prototyping**: Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize design ideas and concepts. Collaborate with the design team in creating interactive and static mockups.
- **UI Design**: Contribute to the creation of visual design elements, including icons, buttons, layouts, and typography, ensuring consistency across the user interface.
- **Collaboration with Developers**: Collaborate with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and with attention to detail during the development process.
- **Feedback Integration**: Incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to improve designs and ensure they meet business goals and user needs.
- **Documentation**: Help document design specifications and guidelines for the development team, ensuring clarity on design elements and user interactions.
- **Continuous Learning**: Stay up to date with the latest trends in UI/UX design, including best practices, emerging tools, and technologies, to enhance your design skills.

**Required SkillsTechnical Skills**
- **UI/UX Design Tools**: Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision for wireframing, prototyping, and designing user interfaces.
- **Wireframing & Prototyping**: Ability to create wireframes, low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes to visualize the user experience.
- **User-Centered Design**: Understanding of user-centered design principles and the importance of usability, accessibility, and aesthetics.
- **Basic Interaction Design**: Basic knowledge of designing interactive elements (e.g., buttons, dropdowns, forms) and understanding how they fit within the user flow.
- **Typography & Color Theory**: Basic understanding of typography, color schemes, and visual design principles to create aesthetically pleasing and readable user interfaces.
- **Basic Research Techniques**: Ability to assist with gathering and analyzing user data, including surveys, user interviews, and usability testing.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- **Education**: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), or related field.
- **Portfolio**: A basic portfolio demonstrating your design work, such as class projects or personal design projects.
- **Experience**: No prior professional experience required. Prior internship or freelance design experience is a plus, but not essential.
- **Interest in UX Trends**: A keen interest in UX design trends, user research, and emerging design tools.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
