**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **CMM Operation & Programming**:

- Program, set up, and operate CMM equipment for inspecting automotive parts, including engine components, chassis, body panels, and interior parts.
- Develop and optimize CMM programs using industry-specific software (e.g., PC-DMIS, CALYPSO).
- Interpret CAD models and blueprints to create accurate inspection routines.
- **Inspection & Measurement**:

- Conduct first-article inspections (FAI), in-process checks, and final inspections of automotive components and assemblies.
- Verify compliance with automotive Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
- Ensure parts meet Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications and tolerances.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Analyze inspection results, identify trends, and report deviations to engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Provide feedback on design or manufacturing issues affecting quality.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances.
- **Documentation**:

- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain records as per automotive industry standards (e.g., ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949).
- Update and maintain inspection procedures and checklists.
- **Compliance & Standards**:

- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Support quality audits (internal, external, and customer audits) and implement corrective actions.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:

- Perform routine calibration and maintenance of CMM equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with CMM machines or software.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in CMM programming and operation (e.g., PC-DMIS, CALYPSO).
- Expertise in GD&T and automotive blueprint interpretation.
- Familiarity with CAD software and automotive component design.
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience in a quality or metrology role within the automobile industry.
- Hands-on experience inspecting automotive components and assemblies.
- **Education**:

- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- **Soft Skills**:

- Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for cross-departmental collaboration.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
