**Responsibilities**:
Conduct field surveys to determine project boundaries, topography, and existing features.
Create and maintain accurate records of survey data and prepare survey reports.
Use survey equipment, such as GPS receivers, total stations, and levels, to collect and analyze data.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of survey data.
Prepare and review project specifications and technical documents related to surveying.
Develop and maintain project plans and schedules related to surveying activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Conduct quality control checks on survey data and equipment.
Perform calculations and analysis of survey data to support project design and construction.
Conduct site inspections and oversee testing and commissioning of survey equipment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
Professional surveyor (PS) license preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in surveying for infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software, such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, such as ASCE and ASTM.
Understanding of safety requirements and protocols related to surveying equipment and activities.
Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
