The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Services (SSGS). SSGS gives asset owners and managers access to the essential financial tools they need to deliver effective investment solutions. From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping, to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity and real estate, SSGS’ tools help our clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.

What you will be responsible for
As Java Developer Apprentice you will:
- Collaborate with senior developers to understand project requirements
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and learn best practices
- Support testing and debugging of software modules
- Contribute to team meetings and agile development processes
- Maintain version control using Git and related tools
- Document technical specifications and user guides
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in software development
- Familiarity with Java development tools and environments
- Understanding of version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of SQL and basic database concepts is a plus
Additional requirements
Full stack experience is a plus and higher chances of succeeding in this role.
