Accounting Controller

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
**In-House Accounting**:

- Oversee and manage day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial reports, statements, and reconciliations.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial data.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and optimize efficiency.
- Client Accounting:

- Act as the primary point of contact for client accounting operations.
- Manage client invoicing, billing, and collections processes.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records for client accounts.
- Provide financial insights and reports to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns.

**ERP Management**:

- Utilize QuickBooks Online &NetSuite as the primary ERP system for both in-house and client accounting functions.
- Maintain and update financial data within the ERP system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Provide training and support to staff on QuickBooks Online functionality and best practices.

**Financial Reporting**:

- Generate and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and client use.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

**Compliance**:

- Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and ensure the company’s accounting practices align with industry standards.
- Coordinate with auditors and facilitate internal and external audits.
- Implement and maintain compliance with tax regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification is preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting and financial management, with at least X years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite and other relevant ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Working Hours**: This position requires working during the US shift hours, including flexibility for any time zone differences.
