**Position Purpose(Overview of the position)
Transportation Lead is responsible
- Transportation activities of IMG Markets
- Flawless Transport Management of both Inbound & Outbound Logistics ( Inbound in Domestic & International and Outbound is from Warehouse to Dealers)
- Drive Freight Efficiencies through Implementation of Strategic Transportation Solutions
- Freight Budget Preparation and Monitoring

**Education Qualification**
- Bachelors / Master Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, International business**No. of Years of Experience**
- Minimum 5 Years**Professional Exposure (Technical Skills)**
- Logistics - Both Inbound and Outbound / Packaging / Supply Chain / Customs**Preferred previous experiences**
- Logistics / Supply Chain / Packaging in an Automotive OEM Work environment**Functional Skills**
- Logistics Network Design, Project Management, Hands on experience on analytical tools - Alteryx**Behavioral Skills**
- Good Communicator / Self Driven & Motivated / Analytical Decision Making**Special Knowledge/Skills Required**
- Fluency in English - Write, Speak / Good Working Knowledge in MS Office tools, Hands on experience on analytical tools like Alteryx**Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position
- Manage all Operational aspects of both Inbound and Outbound Transportation
- Resolve all Operational Issues related to Tpt. and ensure the Smooth flow of Parts
- Manage and Monitor the Performance KPI of Carriers ( Road Transporters, Air Freight Forwarders, Sea Ocean Liners etc.,)
- Flawless implementation of Carrier changes without affecting the business
- Ensure all Tpt. Contracts are available ON TIME in Co-ordination with Purchasing
- Ensure Carrier / Service Provider Selection are through Technical and Commercial evaluation in Co-ordination with Purchasing and Market Team
- Co-ordinate with various stakeholders ( Both Internal and External) to ensure timely delivery of Shipments
- Identify Packaging Solutions and Implement the same, to improve Freight efficiencies
- Continuous Drive on Freight efficiencies to achieve the Optimum Freight Cost
- Develop Freight Budget
- Monitor Freight expenses to Budget and take actions to contain within the Budget
