As a Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the transportation of goods from the point of origin to the final destination. This role involves managing the logistics process, ensuring efficient and timely delivery, and handling all necessary documentation. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including shippers, carriers, customs officials, and clients, to ensure smooth and cost-effective freight operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Coordinate Shipments**:

- Plan and organize the transportation of goods by selecting appropriate carriers and routes.
- Arrange for the pickup and delivery of cargo and coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, and other carriers.
- **Documentation**:

- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and customs clearance documents.
- Ensure that all required permits and licenses are obtained.
- **Customs Clearance**:

- Work with customs brokers to ensure compliance with customs regulations and facilitate the smooth clearance of goods at borders.
- Provide accurate and timely information to customs authorities.
- **Client Communication**:

- Communicate with clients to understand their shipping requirements and provide updates on the status of shipments.
- Address client inquiries and resolve any issues related to transportation.
- **Cost Management**:

- Negotiate rates with carriers and optimize transportation costs.
- Monitor and control expenses related to freight transportation.
- **Risk Management**:

- Identify potential risks in the transportation process and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Address issues such as delays, damages, or losses in transit.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Stay informed about international trade regulations, import/export laws, and other relevant industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements governing the movement of goods.
- **Technology Utilization**:

- Utilize freight management software and technology tools to track shipments, manage inventory, and optimize logistics processes.

**Salary**: ₹14,596.17 - ₹67,960.35 per month
