Here is the description: Vertiver is a behavior lab that specializes in connecting

exploratory research with behavior change communications for climate action and

natural resource conservation. With a team of scientists, sociologists, designers, writers,

performers, and filmmakers, we create solutions that are multi-disciplinary, vernacular

and context-appropriate.

About the Role

As a film editor, your primary role is to organize and assemble raw footage, cut and

splice shots together to create a cohesive narrative, and add special effects,

transitions, and sound effects to a film. You’ll work closely with the director and other

members of the team to ensure that the film adheres to the desired pacing and tone,

and maintains overall continuity.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand briefs and translate concepts into creative, and innovative videos,

and ensure on-time delivery
- Create concept boards and other visual representations of prospective edits for

projects.
- Assemble raw footage and incorporate necessary inputs (audio, graphics, colour

grading, etc.) to produce a rough cut file on the basis of the script/story sequence
- Facilitate the process of editing social media content (Facebook, Instagram, and

YouTube videos) on the basis of understanding the web codecs and nuances of

each platform
- Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to deliver videos as per requirement

within defined timelines
- Keep yourself updated with the latest trends and practices across mediums and

platforms

Qualification
- Graduate /Postgraduate in degree or any Certification to be a film or video editor.
- At least 1 year of work experience in similar field.
- Should have knowledge of Video editing software( like: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final

Cut Pro, Power Director, Adobe Premiere Elements, Femora or Open Shot).
- Local from Delhi/NCR will be preferred.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 per month
