**Job Title: Trainee Costing (ICWA Fresher)**

**Location: Kolkata**

**Department: Costing, Finance and Accounting**

**Reports To: Department Head**

**Job Summary**:

**Kankaria Group (a 80+ years old group in Kolkata) have multifaceted businesses. Our business verticals are as follows**:

- We own multiple Jute and Textile Manufacturing Units in and around Kolkata - Kelvin Jute, Bally Jute, Ambica Jute, Ludlow Jute etc.
- Score Information Technologies Ltd.: deals with IT Services and System Integration.
- HCK Solar Energy Ltd.: provides the ultimate Solar Energy solutions.
- Workbravo: provides the finest Co-working space with sleek and modern infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Financial Reporting and Analysis**:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support in cost analysis and management.

**Compliance and Auditing**:

- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Maintain records for tax compliance and statutory filings.

**Cost Management**:

- Analyze cost structures and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Prepare product costing and profitability reports.

**Data Management**:

- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP/accounting software.
- Generate periodic MIS (Management Information System) reports.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams for financial planning.
- Support senior accountants and finance managers with ad-hoc tasks.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**
- CMA certification is mandatory (recent graduate or cleared final exams).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Internship experience in finance, accounts, or related fields.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and data analytics tools.
