**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Develop detailed 3D models of electrical systems including but not limited to lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, security systems, and other electrical components from LOD 200 to LOD 500.
- Creating new family as required by the project.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall building design.
- Attend coordination meetings to resolve clashes and ensure that electrical systems do not interfere with other building systems.
- Produce accurate and detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams based on the BIM model.
- Prepare schedules and bills of materials (BOM) for electrical components.
- Conduct regular checks and audits of the BIM model to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Implement quality control procedures to maintain model integrity.
- Keep the BIM model updated throughout the project lifecycle, incorporating changes and revisions as required.
- Ensure that as-built models accurately reflect the completed construction.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members and stakeholders on BIM processes and software.
- Assist in developing and implementing BIM standards and protocols within the organization.
- Generate reports and documentation related to the BIM model for project stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed records of model changes and updates.
- Ensure that all electrical designs generated with the BIM model comply with local and international building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Preparation of Electrical services (eg. Lighting, Power, Fire Alarm, ICT, Security and ELV Systems) detailed design or shop drawings and as built drawings and SLD/ Schematic drawings as instructed by the line design engineers by ensuring and maintains quality for finished drawings using AUTOCAD or any CAD tool as provided by the company.
- Cable tray sizing calculation.
- Preparation of Cable Schedule
- Maintains and updates electronic and manual records of the company.
- DIALUX Lighting Calculation (preferred)

These roles and responsibilities can vary depending on the specific project requirements and organizational structure.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Diploma / Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
- At least 2-6 years of experience as a Electrical CAD Designer as well as BIM Modeler.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and PDF Tools

**Job location**: West Mogappair, Chennai.
