They work with cross-functional teams, including engineers and technicians, to implement and support PLC-based automation solutions. Key Responsibilities:

- **System Design and Programming**:Designing, developing, and configuring PLC programs to control industrial processes and machinery.
- **System Integration**:Integrating PLC systems with other automation components and equipment.
- **Troubleshooting and Maintenance**:Diagnosing and resolving issues in PLC systems, ensuring optimal performance and mínimal downtime.
- **Testing and Commissioning**:Testing PLC programs and systems, and assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- **Documentation and Training**:Creating documentation for PLC programs and providing training to technicians and other personnel on their use and maintenance.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:Working with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, troubleshoot problems, and ensure seamless operation of automated systems.
- **Continuous Improvement**:Identifying opportunities to improve PLC programs and processes, and implementing best practices for automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- **PLC Programming Languages**:Proficiency in one or more PLC programming languages, such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram.
- **Automation Software**:Experience with automation software and tools for PLC programming and configuration.
- **Electrical and Mechanical Knowledge**:A strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, as well as industrial automation systems.
- **Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills**:Ability to analyze complex problems, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective solutions.
- **Communication and Interpersonal Skills**:Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- **Teamwork and Collaboration**:Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other professionals.
- **Education**:A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field is often preferred.
