**Job Title**: Assistant Teacher (Standards 1 to 5)

**Location**: Shree Dhanvantary International School, Kim

**Reports To**: Lead Teacher / Head of Primary Section

**Job Type**: Full-Time

**Salary**: 7000/- To 15000/
- **Job Summary**:
The Assistant Teacher will support the lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment for students in Standards 1 to 5. The role involves assisting with lesson delivery, managing student behavior, helping with assessments, and promoting holistic development in young learners.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Help maintain discipline and order in the classroom, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Provide individual and small group support to students who need extra help.
- Support students with classwork, homework, and activities under the guidance of the lead teacher.
- Help with classroom management, including organizing materials, maintaining cleanliness, and setting up learning resources.
- Supervise students during lunch breaks, field trips, and school events.
- Assist in evaluating student progress through observations and informal assessments.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and occasionally with parents or guardians.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs as required.
- Ensure student safety and support their emotional and social development.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Minimum Qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent. (Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Education preferred.)
- Prior experience working with children (especially in a school setting) is desirable.
- Good command of English and local language(s).
- Patient, caring, and enthusiastic about working with young children.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with teaching staff.
- Basic knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
- Familiarity with classroom technology (computers, projectors, etc.) is an advantage.

**Work Environment**:

- Classroom setting in a primary school.
- May involve standing for long periods, bending, or moving around with students.
- Occasional outdoor activities or supervision duties.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
