**Job Summary**: The Lab Assistant (Teacher) supports the teaching staff in delivering high-quality science education by preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and assisting students during practical lessons. The role requires both administrative and instructional support to facilitate effective laboratory activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and set up laboratory equipment, materials, and specimens required for science experiments and practical lessons.
- Assist teachers in conducting laboratory demonstrations and ensure students follow safety guidelines.
- Supervise students during lab activities, providing guidance and maintaining discipline.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab, including equipment, chemicals, and tools.
- Keep accurate records of lab supplies and inventory; inform the department head of replenishment needs.
- Assist in the development of lab manuals, worksheets, and instructional materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper waste disposal procedures.
- Support teachers in conducting assessments and evaluating students' performance in practical tasks.
- Stay updated on new laboratory techniques and safety protocols.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Science or a related field.
- Previous experience in a school laboratory environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
