Key Responsibilities:

- Independently draft legal notices, complaints, affidavits, and other pleadings related to Section 138 NI Act matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.
- Appear before Magistrate Courts and handle all stages of the case, including:

- Pre
- summoning and post-summoning procedures
- Leading evidence and handling cross-examination
- Final arguments and disposal
- Liaise with clients and keep them regularly updated on case progress.
- Maintain detailed case records and schedules for hearings.
- Coordinate with court clerks, process servers, and other stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

- LL.B. degree from a recognized university and enrollment with a Bar Council.
- 1-3 years of relevant litigation experience, especially in cheque bounce cases.
- Strong drafting and communication skills.
- Confidence in appearing before courts and conducting cross-examinations.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
- Proficiency in English and [insert regional language, if required].

NOTE:

- This is a job role that would need regular travelling. Proper physical, mental and emotional fitment would be needed for the responsibilities to be delivered.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
