Introduction:

- The purpose of this role is to support all aspects of the CFO Business Partnering agenda for the BE CFO and various Barclays Europe Finance stakeholders across globe including Country CEOs & Regional Heads of Business.
- The role is responsible for supporting the CFO BP team for outputs which feeds into BE Board, BE Executive Committee, Review and Remuneration Committees.
- This role is also to ensure the integrity and accuracy of overall headcount / cost entity reports, performance reports consisting of PnL and Balance Sheet views comparing to MTP including ability to delivery key packs from various tools/sources used across Barclays Group.

What will you be doing?
- Management oversight of the India BE CFO BP Team
- Ability to drive BE strategic agenda & projects
- Provide accurate, timely and incisive MI reporting to BE CFO
- Lead month-end close financial performance reporting
- Supervise monthly standard actual reporting/analysis
- Oversee Cost/Headcount entity reports
- Supervise Country Financial packs by Country
- Ensure delivery of ExFo Papers for each Country
- Lead delivery of merged CFO x ExCo pack consisting of Europe’s financial performance against MTP
- Supervise Remuneration Committee (RemCo) pack
- Automate manual BAU processes to improve productivity where possible
- Ensure adherence to SLAs
- Ensure adherence to and compliance with governance, risk policies, procedures and compliance policies
- Manage system approvals where required
- Delegate to the Lead CFO BP
- Lead/ support any projects that may be assigned from time to time

What we’re looking for:

- Fresh CA and/or MBA (Finance) graduates with strong academic record, or CA/MBA graduates with 10+ years’ experience in Accounting / Finance function.
- Proven track record of high performance in a high-profile working environment
- Technically competent in terms of financial accounting and control
- Those with past experience in large audit firms, or in sizable banking institutions/MNCs, or in a global shared services environment will be preferred
- Experience in Financial Reporting, Control, Planning and/or Analytics is desirable
- Barclays data and/or analytics experience a distinct advantage
