**Azure VDI Architect**

**Responsibilities**

Document the architecture, deployment, configuring, and managing Desktop Virtualization, Azure Cloud (AVD) and Hybrid solution.

Architecting and designing Workplace Virtualization solutions that solve Client’s business problems, while aligning to enterprise standards. Ensure technical integrity, performance, and quality of Azure VDI virtual desktop services

Develop, maintain, and audit all VDI related documentation as it relates to architecture, configuration, processes, service records, asset inventories, topologies, administration manuals, job instructions, support contacts, etc.

Prior experience in assessment, discovery of customer requirement and prepare design, implementation plan for Azure Virtual Desktop (Identity and access management, Network connectivity, Automation ,Security, Backup, Logging and Monitoring, Disaster Recovery, Application delivery and packaging etc.)

Design, implement, configure, and maintain various Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS Cloud Services such as Azure AD, VM, Storage, Networking, Application Gateway Load Balancers, Site to Site VPN & Azure Virtual Desktop/Remote Desktop Services etc.

Coordinates work with project delivery organization to support the successful completion of medium to large enterprise projects

Expertise on Azure compliance management and mitigation by Azure policy templates and Azure Blueprint.

Azure based Cloud Architecture and migration skills and experience. Experience in designing and planning the resource capacity and performance management includes assessing. CPU/Memory/Storage/IOPS/Bandwidth etc.

Dive into automation technology options within Azure, learn to use PowerShell and JSON templates to define and deploy services to Azure, and how to scale resources in Azure.

Microsoft Azure Solution Architect certification along with working experience on Azure Services.

Designing and Implementation of Azure Virtual Desktop architecture, HLD, LLD

Proven work experience in Azure virtual desktop (AVD/WVD), FSlogix profile container, App masking and Azure Files, Azure Image Builder, MSIX App Attach, Azure Monitoring, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Security Center etc.

Azure based Cloud Architecture and migration skills and experience. Experience in designing and planning the resource capacity and performance management includes assessing. CPU/Memory/Storage/IOPS/Bandwidth etc.

Must Experience on Nerdio Manager or similar tools

Experienced with End point management and Security (MEM, Intune)

AVD Image management technologies (Image Builder or similar)

Experience in Azure Resource Manager, Azure Devops

Well experienced with concepts of Persona, Remote Application and Host Pools, Licensing mode(s) and Design of the overall service.

Sound knowledge in infrastructure-as-a-code approaches with Puppet, Chef, Ansible or Terraform.

Implementation and design experience on core Azure services like, Storage accounts, Virtual Networks, Recovery services, Azure Image Builder, Azure Log Analytics etc.

Ability to create/work on scripts in Powershell and work on automation wherever possible

Experience with patch management and vulnerability management for AVD environment

Ability to create and manage AVD Runbooks.

Automate Azure Virtual Desktop management tasks

Monitor and manage Azure Virtual Desktop performance, health

Ensuring security and efficiency of AVD infrastructure

Maintain and frontend disaster recovery drills, backup and restore procedures

Create architecture diagrams, documents and standard operating procedures
