- 3-5 yrs- Database Installation, Configuration, Upgradation, Migration, Monitoring, and Administration of production databases supporting activities.
- Allocate system storage and plan future storage requirements for the database system.
- Demonstrate proficiency in RMAN, Data Guard, RAC, Data Pump, ASM, Networking, Oracle 11G, Performance Tuning, SQL Database, Grid CRS management, and Firewall configuration.
- Manage change/release processes and perform maintenance using Oracle Enterprise Management Grid Control.
- Monitor OS services and database processes to ensure continuous operation.
- Create database structures at the schema level and generate active reports based on collected data.
- Implement Database Server Security based on service-level agreements.
- Respond to and resolve database security alerts promptly.
- Monitor database system performance, gather data, and generate reports on metrics like buffer hit ratio.
- Facilitate new database deployments, execute and manage cron jobs, and perform routine database administration tasks remotely.
- Monitor and manage table space usage, buffer cache hit ratio, segment counts approaching maximum extent, index usability, and invalid object counts.
