The Role
- Capacity and resource planning, Estimated the size of data files and redo log files
- Participate in the implementation of new projects, performance tuning, recommending solutions to enhance performance
- Perform 2nd and 3rd level support to all customers’ infrastructure and develop solutions to stabilize customer environments
- Oracle database installation, administration and support
- Database and Index reorganization
- Batch management, Patch management, disk space administration, performance tuning
- Backup/Restore, Systems tuning, Database backup/restore
- Implement, review and maintain security settings and patches to achieve bank security standards
- Have good knowledge on oracle High Availability features, Disaster Recovery, Cluster Technology and FLASHBACK Technology
- Maintain the integrity, security and availability of multiple database(s)
- Assist other project members with analysis, evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts
- Evaluate requirements and recommend available DBMS products
- Participate in the implementation of new projects, recommending solutions to enhance performance
- Help establish and publish standards for configuring databases
- Support RMAN other export and import utilities
- Monitoring activities included verifying database operational status including tablespace, alert logs
- Maintains and supports the operations of the databases in test, training and production environments in cooperation with project leads, analysts and programmers as required
- Performs all aspects of database system management for multiple research projects and registries

Who You Are
- Experience of Oracle 11g and above Database Administration on Unix and Windows distributed Platform
- Hands on experience in implementing business continuity or disaster recovery plan/portfolio
- Configuring OEM, Grid Control & Generating Stats pack Report
- Lead the team give technical solutions
- Should be able to do performance tuning of Oracle Servers
- 6+ years overall Database Administration experience using Oracle
- At least 3 years experience working in Unix/Linux/Windows environments
- At least 3 years experience insuring database meets security and control policies
