**What You’ll Achieve**:
As a Junior Database Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring data integrity and compliance. Streamline data management, develop disaster recovery plans, and design scalable solutions. Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

**You will**:

- Create and maintain databases.
- Ensure database availability and integrity.
- Monitor and manage database instances round-the-clock to promptly address any issues or anomalies.
- Provide end-user support for database-related requests.
- Offer database support for various projects based on specific requirements.
- Proactively address alerted issues and manage escalations to minimize downtime.
- Maintain internal documentation systems.
- Update and manage architectural diagrams.
- Develop and maintain scripts using DOS and PowerShell to automate routine tasks.
- Basic knowledge of Oracle DB and proficiency in SQL queries, triggers, procedures, and packages.
- Understanding of both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth database operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and end-users to resolve issues and provide updates.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
- Experience with database monitoring tools and techniques.
- Hands-on experience in a similar role or internship.
-  Familiarity with database security practices.
- Basic knowledge of Database Management Systems, specifically Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Familiarity with scripting languages such as DOS and PowerShell.
- Understanding of Oracle database structures, triggers, procedures, and packages.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
