**Job Summary**

A professional Database Administrator (DBA) who is responsible to keep the database up and running smoothly 24/7. The goal is to provide a seamless flow of information throughout the company, considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Building database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role
- Support, administer and maintain production and non-production database environments.
- Work on the performance issues related to Clustering, create logical diagrams to figure out the loop pools in the database designs and functionality. Diagnose and resolve performance, connectivity, security, and database corruption issues in a critical production environment.
- Perform database restoration and recovery in the event of a failure.
- Implementation of RAC, ASM, Data Guard for database failover between Data center and DR site, perform switchover /failover activities.
- Defining users and enabling data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner
- Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialised role.
- Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data.
- Minimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.
- Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Work with a team that supports large number of Oracle databases.
- To be proactive in nature thus identifying problems in advance and looking for continuous service improvements.
- Proven working experience as a Database Administrator
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL
- Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools
- Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and self-sufficient in accomplishing tasks.
- Demonstrates ability to work with a solution mindset approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with confidence & clarity.
- Maintains knowledge of current and emerging technologies.

**Job Type**: Full-time

- Master’s Degree (preferred)

**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
